Throughout history, we have seen the United States expand its territory over other countries, which are known as US territories. The way the US expands its territory is called Imperialism. The Spanish American was started because of imperialism, Cuba wanted independence and the US got involved. Imperialism as caused a lot of wars throughout history. People joined World War 1 for the power you could say. The United States tried to be neutral at first but then they didn't want to be left out.

  1. Well written as I read your work. The US was smart in what they did and how they have expanded during this area. It shows that they are on top of thier games, but through this era they been through a lot.

  3. Kaitlyn, the pictures are nice. The post is too short and does only summarizes a couple of points made in the module. It is also too short at 84 words. The minimum is 300.

  4. I enjoyed your pictures that came with your post. It was very straight to the point. However, would like to hear more about your opinion on imperialism.Do you agree with it? Did you see how it shaped the United States today?

  5. Hey Kaitlyn, I love your image and how you put a positive light on America helping other countries. People usually see US territories as the US trying to take another country, but you were able to back up their reasoning and that was great.
